A bushy, small tree producing deep pink-red buds in late spring, opening to double pink blooms which hang in large clusters. The leaves turn a polished mid-green, before developing shades of red and orange in the autumn. This is a naturally dwarf version of Prunus ‘Pink Perfection’ growing to about half normal size, ideal for small spaces and patio tubs.

Backstory

Pink Perfection was developed in the UK but is considered a “Japanese” flowering cherry on account of is probable ancestery – it is thought to be a seedling of Prunus Shogetsu and Prunus Kanzan.
